In Sweden, the contrast between the cold and the warm months of the year can be very sharp, especially if you live in the central and northern regions. Winter is very long, autumn and spring are fleeting, and summer is very short, so although there are officially 4 seasons, we often think about them in terms of the dark and the bright ones.
